Yes. If the bike doesn't suit you, we can swap it for a different model (with a top-up fee) or refund the unused portion of your rental according to our cancellation policy. Ask your manager for details.
We don't require a licence to process the rental, but Indonesian law mandates a category A licence for riding. Riding without one can result in a fine of 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 IDR. We strongly recommend obtaining the appropriate licence before riding.
Modern plastic licences with an English translation are recognised in Indonesia. However, the safest option is an International Driving Permit (IDP booklet) obtained before travel — it eliminates most issues with local police.
Yes — you can get a Tourist Driving Licence (SIM Wisata) valid for 1 year across all of Indonesia. Issued at the police station, no test required. Contact us and we'll share the details.
It's an uncomfortable situation but manageable. Keep around 100,000 IDR cash in your pocket — most encounters without a licence are resolved with a small informal contribution on the spot. The official fine is significantly higher.
Bali has one fuel network — Pertamina. Use Pertamax (92) — look for the blue pump. Fuel is also sold in glass bottles at the roadside or small warung shops — more convenient but slightly pricier than a petrol station.
